Losi Lasernut U4 4WD Rock Racer RTR | CompetitionX

Losi Lasernut U4 4WD Rock Racer RTR | CompetitionX

Not sure where this picture came from, but it appears Losi is jumping into the 2.2 Unlimited Rock Racer scene with the Lasernut U4 1/10 4WD Rock Racer RTR.

The little we know (based on this picture) is that the Lasernut U4 is based on the TEN design and is the currently the only Unlimited U4 FIS (Full Independent Suspension) ride on the market. Being an RTR, it will come with a Spektrum 4-Pole 1900kV 550 motor and 130A Brushless waterproof ESC with AVC, a feature which should prove helpful in the U4 class if it indeed allowed. It will also use 2.2/3.0 tires and comes with a super-cool looking Lasernut body and ‘Pretty Penny’ copper wheels. Driver figures and some additional details are also included.

What will be interesting to see is how this rig stacks up to the other U4 2.2 rides – it will be the only 1/10 scale setup in a 1/8 scale class.

More info when it becomes available.
