RPM has come up with a new front bumper and skid plate for the Losi Baja Rey, solving a problem with the kits original parts. The stock parts are a bit too stiff (especially the skid plate), preventing the bumper from correctly absorbing frontal impacts.
These new parts help create a ‘flex zone’, allowing a little more movement up front to help cushion heavy impacts and, in turn, helping to prevent breakage.
In addition, the new skid plate also covers the aluminum chassis to protect it as well.
Stronger parts, more protection – sounds like a win/win situation in my book!
