Team Associated employees has been posting a lot of ‘personal’ pix of their ‘No Prep’, short course-based drag racers over the past couple of weeks. That being said, it’s really no surprise to see the DR10 come out of the AE camp.
Based on a 1/10 scale short course, the DR10 features a much narrower stance thanks to new arms, turnbuckles and other related drivetrain parts. Power is provided by a water-resistant Reedy brushless ESC and 3300kV brushless motor with a 2.4GHz 2-channel radio system handling the controls. Alos included is AE’s ALL NEW DVC (Dynamic Vehicle Control), an integrated adjustable digital gyro built into the ESC.
New wheels, tires and non-branded muscle car body are also included, pre-painted and pre-mounted – just drop your battery in and go street racing!
I’ve been thinking about doing something like this here recently – this may be my ‘entry-level’ option to finally take that step!
