In some instances, your shocks might rub the towers, especially if you are using shocks with threaded collars. There are two ways to fix this:
1. You can shim the upper ballstud out, away from the shock tower, using .030″ shims (I use the AE Part #9630 washers). This will help, but will change the angle of the shock slightly. This should not be a problem.
2. You can shave the tower where the parts are hitting. This works great but has two downsides. One, it doesn’t look the greatest & two, you can’t do this to an aluminum tower without some sort dremel or grinder.
Once done, pop your shock back on and you should be good to go!
