For those of you that prefer an aluminum chassis, Exotek Racing has released a new 7075 MM (Mid-Motor) chassis set for the TLR 22 and 22 2.0 buggies. This chassis is perfect for stock or mod racing and weighs in at only 200grams.
The low-CG alloy chassis set is milled to 3mm with 5mm carbon fiber side rails for strength. The LiPo strap attaches to the aluminum rear brace and doubles as a top plate. Like the carbon fiber chassis, the gearbox brace is positioned farther back to allow an improved rearward battery placement.
Other features include a 7075 aluminum nose plate, Delrin antenna mount and increased chassis space for more electronics options. The LiPo battery can be switched from a lateral position to an inline position with ease.
