EcoPower Mini Intelligent Charger / Battery Line Up | CompetitionX

EcoPower has made entering our hobby a bit easier with their new Mini Intelligent Charger and Battery line up!

The new ECP-1007 Electron Mini Charger is designed to be used with these new batteries and, when plugged in, will automatically recognize the battery type and cell count and start charging with the optimum safe settings. A lid front display keeps track of the chargers progress and shuts off automatically when complete. It can handle a 2S, 3S or 4S battery pack.

The new battery line up ranges from 2S to 4S and can be used in RC cars, trucks and even boats! When the balance port is plugged into the Intelligent Charger, the two communicate for a seamless battery charging operation.

What We Like:
Honestly, we’re not sure why a simple setup like this hasn’t been introduced a LONG time ago. It seems to be a no brainer plug-and-play system with a good variety of battery options for crawlers or bashers. We also love the Storage button on the charger – this is a must have feature to help keep the batteries in a safe range for storing after use.

What We’re Not Sure About:
Typically charge times on these types of chargers can be lengthy but, at these prices, you can purchase a couple packs to keep the fun going non-stop between those charge times!
