Hitec has introduced the newest version of the AD380 Battery Discharger which is capable of dischargering high-capacity batteries at 40a! The new AD380 also has a nice LED display on the front that displays rea-time battery voltage, discharge capacity and current as well as analyzing your packs for peak performance. It can handle up to 6S HV LiPo packs and can bring them down to safe storage levels. It also has Bluetooth that can talk to your Link Power X app for mobile connectivity!

What We Like:
We have a battery discharger but, unfortunately, it only handles 3S and, well, that’s all it does. Having something like this on hand seems like a no-brainer for those that have larger batteries (for different applications – car, truck, heli, plane, etc) and want to keep a sharp eye on their condition. We’ll be putting one of these on our wish list!
What We’re Not Sure About:
Nothing. We also like that it’s a stand-alone system!
