JD Model KoH Ultra4 Rock Racer | CompetitionX

The JD Model KoH Ultra4 Rock Racing rig is getting the attention of alot of King of the Hammers fans! This 1/10 scale RTR is built around a titanium tube frame and features a full nylon gearbox housing (front and rear), CNC-machined axles and wheels, oil-filled shocks and a 2-speed gearbox with dig function.

The electronics package consists of FOUR servos (36kg steering servo, 9kg shift servo, 9kg dig servo and a S015 shift servo), full LED lighting system and a Hobbywing QuicRun 1200kV brushless system – all controlled by a 6-channel 2.4GHz radio system.

Finally, the beauty features are all 3D-printed from aluminum alloy: exhaust pipe, cabin shroud, air filter pipe, fuel tank, etc.

What We Like:
Well, first off, it’s f’ing awesome!!!! JD Model hit the nail on the head in the looks department. We can’t imagine this is a mass-produced rig but, even so, it’s one of the best KoH-style rides we’ve seen in a long time!!!

What We’re Not Sure About:
That price tag. Whew. We understand you get what you pay for, but we can’t imagine many people paying that.
