Killerbody Mercury 1/10 Crawler Chassis Kit | CompetitionX

Killerbody, makers of some, well, killer-looking hard bodies, has announced their new 1/10 scale Mercury chassis. This semi-pre-assembled kit is designed to work with their stunning 1/10 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon and Toyota Land Cruiser 70 bodies.

This kit looks quite basic but does have some very cool features – C-channel chassis, metal gear train, 2-speed transmission with locking/unlocking differentials and the ability to switch from 4WD to 2WD (and back).

There’s quite a bit going on here with this truck, but our biggest excitement comes from the fact we get to mount our Jeep Gladiator – FINALLY!

What We Like:
Aside from the basic build, the cool-front mounted engine and realistic transmission, all the ‘switching’ stuff, the realistic shock setup, rear fuel cell, exhaust and great-looking wheels and tires (did I miss anything), we LOVE LOVE LOVE that it’s set up specifically for the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon body – which we have – still unmounted on anything. Exciting times!

What We’re Not Sure About:
We are builders here at CompetitionX – we would have like un-assembled axles and transmission. But that’s a minor thing.
