Losi has just announced the release of a limited edition Mini JRXT Monster Truck RTR and – WOW!!!
This is a 1/16 scale version of the original JRXT that was introduced back in 1988. It mimics that truck quite well, all the way down to the wild 5-link rear suspension system! The body is the same, including the livery and vintage Ranch Pit Shop stickers (if you know, you know). Wheels are the same, motor placement, shock towers … even the shocks with slip collars are reminiscent of the original truck!
The electronics package consists of a Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz radio system, 20A 2-in-1 ESC/receiver unit, 42T brushed motor and a 650mAh LiPo battery pack.

What We Like:
Back in the day, this was the truck to have (even though it was more Stadium Truck than Monster Truck). It was a super cool ride that worked quite well with lots of upgrades available to boost performance. It’s certainly a must-have ride for those older racers that remember this truck!
What We’re Not Sure About:
That it’s limited to 5000 units. Bummer.
