Got battery? Well it seems ProTek RC does – announcing 2 new ‘Stock Spec’ packs to their line-up: a 4800mAh and a whopping 9200mAh. The 4800mAh is a 2S design and perfect for both onroad and offroad racing where a lightweight, short pack are beneficial.

The 9200mAh comes as a 1S pack, delivering a ton of run time without losing much end-race power. This is great for 1S racing but also might be good for F1 class on a low-traction track.

What We Like:
It’s always good to see battery-tech advancing, even a little bit. The 4200mAh pack will do well in most 2WD and 4WD offroad classes, however it’s going to be interesting to see if the 9200mAh 1S pack can power anything outside of 1/12 scale – like the F1 class. I’d like to try that!!!!

What We’re Not Sure About:
Nothing. Both packs will be good performers and certainly worth the $60 price tag. I use (almost exclusively) ProTek and love them!
