After the initial release of the XP10, Reefs RC finally succumbed to the massive online request for a ‘standard’ version – and here it is – the XP10 Plague Black Edition!

This rig looks amazing and brings some really nice features:

• Reefs 199 portal axles
• Machined and hardened steel gears, axle shafts, spools and universals
• Steering angle up to 60∘
• Machined, hardened steel, 5mm Pinned
• Machined aluminum knuckles, front and rear covers and C-hubs
• BTA (Behind the Axle) servo mounting
• 48P hardened steel transmission gears
• 3mm carbon fiber frame rails
• Front and rear winch mounting points

What We Like:
I had a chance to see and drive the original limited edition rig at a local crawling event not too long ago and was seriously impressed with how it worked. It has been incredibly popular – the Reefs boys did their homework and, in all honesty, another ‘street’ version of this truck was bound to come out. The design is cool but it’s the quality that is top notch.

What We’re Not Sure About:
It’s a big purchase – $900 as a slider. You’re still going to be it for another couple hundred for the body, wheels, tires and electronics.
