Tamiya has announced a couple new option parts for the XV-02 Rally car – a reinforced carbon lower deck and front/rear carbon fiber shock towers.
Both parts are direct replacements for the stock parts. The chassis is carbon-reinforced to give it a more rigid design, great for tarmac sessions. The shock towers are cut from 3.5mm carbon fiber and are designed to lower the XV-02, also upping the performance for asphalt and high-bite conditions.

What We Like:
We’ve been interested in building a second XV-02 for serious tarmac racing and these parts would fit the bill perfectly.
What We’re Not Sure About:
Swapping these out on a single car for both offroad and onroad rallies – oye. That’s alot of work!
