Team Associated Factory Team Diff Decoder | CompetitionX

Team Associated Factory Team Diff Decoder | CompetitionX

New from Team Associated is a pretty killer tool – the Factory Team Diff Decoder. This tool allows you to check your diff ‘hardness’, using the result to tell you what fluid is in your diff. It can then be used to fine tune your diff for better performance.

The Diff Decoder has an aluminum body with a 5-digit LED display for the measurement. The kit also includes a 7mm hex driver or 1/8 pin adapter for readying 1/10 and 1/8 scale diffs.

What We Like:
An item like this has been requested for, oh, hundreds of years. While it doesn’t necessarily tell you the actual diff fluid weight, it can give you a target measurement that you can cross reference with values you’ve set up previously!

What We’re Not Sure About:
Some people are going to poo-poo it since they’ll have to do some tabulating, but we think it’s a great tool for keeping track of diff fluid weights.
