Team Associated RC10 Kinwald Edition Kit

We’ve seen quite a few versions of the RC10 being released lately, but this new RC10 Kinwald Edition kit from Team Associated is one I can get behind! It’s a factory rendition of his 1993 World Championship-winning buggy that includes additional features like custom shocks, a Stealth transmission, Mirage SS body set and a 5.5″ rear wing. One-piece dish wheels and AE tires are also standard equipment.

What We Like:
I actually raced alot with Brian at SoCal Raceway in Garden Grove, California. During that time, I had a chance to talk with him about setups and driving lines and man, was that kid brilliant at both. He actually never told me what a setup change would do but, instead, told me to THINK about what it would do. That not only helped me get my car faster, but also helped me understand WHY it went faster.

What We’re Not Sure About:
While I think this is one of the better RC10 releases, especially to replicate a true RC heroes ride, the body comes clear – meaning it’s just another RC10. It would have been great to, at the very least, screen-printed the body in his colors for a true replica feel.
