Team Associated RC10T Classic Kit | CompetitionX

Team Associated RC10T Classic Kit | CompetitionX

After a ‘slip-up’ a couple days ago (and a quick removal), Team Associated has officially announced the release of their RC10T Classic kit!

This kit is actually a dual-release product – first, it’s a re-re of the classic truck kit that started the class, based on the RC10 gold tub chassis. Secondly, AE is producing this to commemorate their 60th anniversary!!

As far as the truck goes, it is a spitting replica of the original RC10T complete with aluminum chassis, white plastic parts, gold aluminum shocks, twin-bellcrank steering and the stealth transmission! It even comes with the OG body and narrow front wheels and tires!

What We Like:
We still have our original RC10T in a box in the garage. We were in the process of reviving it complete with a fresh paint job, but never finished it up. Guess it’s time to do so. Fact is, we may just get a freshy – we don’t have the narrow wheels and tires anymore so it might be worth it to pick up a new one!

What We’re Not Sure About:
The fact that my original from back in the ’90s might be losing its value thanks to this new release.
