Team Associated SR7 Hoonicorn RTR | CompetitionX

Team Associated has given us another Hoonicorn, but this one is a bit bigger. The SR7 is a 1/7 scale version of this popular ride, coming to us in RTR trim but with a LOT more going on than their typical Apex release.

The feature list is a little slim, however we know that it’s coming with the Hoonicorn body, wheels and tires that match it’s smaller counterpart. Under the hood, well, that’s where the mystery still lies, but we’re guessing a 1/8 scale layout with a single motor and ESC and powered by no less that a 4S LiPo system. It’s probably going to be compatible with alot of the A-Team’s 1/8 scale upgrade parts – shocks, linkages and maybe even diffs and gearing.

What We Like:
We LOVE bigger RC stuff and, well, this 1/7 scale, monster-powered, super slider Hoon is right up our alley! It looks like it might be going after a piece of the ARRMA Limitless/Traxxas XO-1 pie.

What We’re Not Sure About:
While the 1/10 version is alot of fun, it’s mainly onroad, meaning you can’t jump it or do much offroading. This is more of the same – just bigger.
