The Jato 4S 4×4 is the latest and greatest 1/8 scale offoad buggy from Traxxas. This bag boy is feature loaded and boasts a 60+mph speed range when equipped on the 4S pack (and, of course, optional gearing). It comes with the powerful Velineon 540XL brushless motor and VXL-4S ESC, 2075 steering servo and managed with a TQi radio system.

What We Like:
In recent years, Traxxas has been diving a little more into race-capable rides – not really for the race market but certainly capable of racing – and that’s where the Jato fits in. It’s a great price point for a 1/8 scale buggy that might actually do quite well in the racing arena! Heck, we’d give it a go!

What We’re Not Sure About:
A clear body set needs to be available.
