We finally got the new Tamiya MB-01 out to play – in two different scenarios!
For the first scenario, we wanted to see how it would do in an open parking lot, some place most people might actually take it. But then we decided to spice it up a bit and throw some cones down to create a fun autocross course!
The second scenario was at an actual track – Cal Raceway to be specific. This track has a huge following of M-Chassis rides so we knew it would be a good place to go to test the performance of this car.
In both scenarios, the MB-01 worked great considering it was straight out of the box – friction shocks, no oil in the diff and RWD. We had a great time with it and want to throw a few hop-ups at it to see what it can really do!
