Binding Tactic Radio to Receiver

Binding Tactic Radio to Receiver

Instructions for binding a Tactic 2.4GHz transmitter to your receiver.

This procedure has been tested with the following:
Transmitters
• Tactic TTX240
• Tactic TTX300
• Tactic TTX404

Receivers
• Tactic TR324
• Tactic TR325

The Procedure
Step 1.
Turn on the transmitter.

Step 2.
Plug your car battery in and turn on the receiver.

Step 3.
– If the receiver LED flashes once and then stays on, the receiver is already bound to this transmitter; skip to step 4.
– If the receiver LED does not flash or stay on, insert a small diameter screwdriver through the hole marked “BIND” or “LINK” on the receiver. Press the push-button until the receiver LED glows red and then turns off after about one second.

Step 4.
Release the “BIND”/”LINK” button. If the binding is successful, the receiver LED will flash once and then remain on.

All set! If the transmitter doesn’t control the car, repeat steps 1-4 above.

  1. I have a tactic TX/RX question on why when i plug a battery to the truck the receiver just blinks and I have no steering or throttle

  2. Can you bind a Tactic 2.4GHz Surface transmitter with an Air receiver, and visa-versa?

  3. My tactic x240 does not seem to have a bind button

  4. Hey George; the bind button is on the receiver, not the transmitter. Thanks for shooting me a message about this as well. I guess I should be a little more specific with the instructions.

  5. I suppose you could, but it would be a trial and error thing. Not all surface/air equipment likes to play together.

  6. My TTX240 and TR324 is not working anymore. The steering rudder is ok but not the throttle. I have a steady red LED on both. But endless beeping alarms.

  7. Usually this the case when the signal from the radio to the receiver is interrupted. I would try binding the system again and see if that fixes the problem.

  8. Will a tactic ttx300 bind with a 324 receiver? Can seem to get it to bind. My old ttx240 broke and I bought a 300 to connect to the 324 that was already installed in my UL1 boat

  9. Yes, it should work with the 324.
