Tekno has announced a set of enhanced, self lubricating shock bodies for their 1/8 scale buggy and truggy rides.
The new coating is a type of anodizing that helps reduce friction and wear, leaving you with a silky smooth set of shocks on your EB48 2.0, EB48 2.1, ET48 2.0, NB48 2.0, NB48 2.1 and NT48 2.0 vehicles. They are direct replacements for the front and rear shock bodies on these cars.

What We Like:
Coatings like this have been touted as a blingy upgrade but, for those that have used them, they do provide a bit more performance. These Tekno units are quite shiny and will certainly catch the eye of your competitors.
What We’re Not Sure About:
Nothing, really. We would say it’s all a placebo affect if we hadn’t tried them some time ago and found out they really are smoother than standard coated shocks.
