Tamiya has announced their next release on the BT-01 chassis – the Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 2.8 – and it’s awesome!!!
This new body is formed from lightweight polycarbonate and includes a beautiful sticker set and a sharp-looking set of silver and red wheels (narrow front / wide rear). It sits on the short wheelbase (251mm) BT-01 chassis with the mid-motor / RWD build setup!

What We Like:
Of course we LOVE LOVE LOVE this Porsche RSR body set and glad to see THIS is the version on the new chassis. While it wasn’t a super-duper performance-oriented drive (our original Supra BT-01), we’re curious how the SWB version is going to perform.
What We’re Not Sure About:
Honestly, this should have been the FIRST version of the BT-01.
