If there’s one part you need to by for you Losi 5IVE-T, it’s this awesome Monster Locker Spur Gear Hub from Vertigo Performance. This hub allows you to remove and change the spur gears (also from Vertigo Performance) from the center diff without having to take the diff apart!
I have these on both of my 5IVE-Ts and have to say it really is an amazing product. Strip a tooth? Need to change the gearing on your truck to suit the track? Simply remove the center diff, remove the 4 screws and swap out the gear.
If you’re interested in how strong it is, I used this system to take the win on the grueling Large Scale Power Jam track back in 2014! I won’t run my 5IVE-Ts without it!
