Tamiya has announced a new version of the TT-02, this one with an Audi V8 Touring Car body.
This Audi is based on the 1991 DTM Championship Winning V8 Touring Car and features the iconic Audi racing livery. The body features molded light buckets (for LEDs), mirrors, a built-in rear lip and a completely detailed sticker sheet. It even comes with multi-piece replica BBS wheels.
This body sits atop Tamiya’s TT-02 chassis, a tried-and-true platform with many hop ups available to help tune this car.
A release date is not yet set, but I would imagine it being available sometime later this year. We’ll be on board for one – that’s for sure!
