What We Like:
It’s kind of obvious – we like the fact that we can monitor the volts in your 2S pack while charging or checking the volts AFTER your run (possibly for storage purposes). They come with 4- and 5mm leads (as stepped plugs – badass!) for different battery packs, 10awg wire has a nice LCD display to notate the packs overall voltage.
What We’re Not Sure About:
Yes, I know, most likely your charger monitors and displays the packs voltage as well so yes, there’s not a total need for this during the charge function. Another bummer is fact that it shows the OVERALL voltage, not the v-per-cell. I like the v-per-cell to help me isolate if a cell is bad – not sure why, this will basically tell me the same thing, but, well, yeah. I like the single cell setup. Finally, there are two leads available depending on if you need the balance lead to the right or left of the charge plug (to keep the monitor facing up – it uses an XT60 plug).
There are other voltage checkers you can use that seem a bit more functional, but this is a step in the right direction for an all-in-one type of solution.
