New from 3BrothersRC are these Anti-Foams for the Axial SCX6. Basically, these are foam replacement inserts for the tires on your SCX6.
The two-piece dual-stage design is able to hold the shape of the tire while still conforming to any obstacles and providing maximum grip. The biggest benefit is that these inserts are waterproof and won’t break down after continued use.
What We Like:
While this concept is not new, it is awesome to see creators looking outside the box to rectify issues like soggy foam inserts. Previous versions of these types of inserts do well simply because the vehicle is lightweight, however it’s a different ballgame when you’re talking something the size (and weight) of the SCX6. Great job on the design.
What We’re Not Sure About:
They are a bit pricy at $45 a pair – and you need 2 pair. I’m not sure how much foam inserts are by themselves (new kit BFG’s are $54 a set and they include inserts) but it might be worth it in the long run.
