With the IFMAR Worlds being run on carpet, we’ve been seeing quite a few turf-tracks popping up. With that, alot of low CG, laydown gearbox designs have been popping up as well.
Exotek, a definite leader in quality aftermarket parts for all kinds of race rides, has released a single pic of their new LCG Laydown Gear Box Conversion for the Losi 22 3.0. It’s 3-gear design features an aluminum case, lightweight aluminum motor plate and delrin gear cover. A template is included to drill the appropriate mounting holes and all the hardware is included.
This is an awesome upgrade for the Losi 22 3.0 on carpet and I’m sure, as I’m writing this, equivalent conversion kits for other cars are on the horizon.
