After releasing a mid-motor setup for the TLR 22 buggy that was a crazy-wild success, Exotek has released a similar setup for the popular TLR 22T / 22T 2.0 trucks. Designed for high-bite clay-track performance, this conversion kit has improved rearward weight bias by moving the battery and electronics towards the back. This chassis can also use standard inline shorty packs or side-ways mounted batteries.
The chassis is machined from 7075 aluminum and is 2.5mm thick and has pockets milled to lower the weight. 5mm carbon fiber side rails helps with chassis stiffness and an easy-access carbon fiber strap keeps your LiPo battery firmly in place.
A machined nose plate is included up front while the alloy gearbox is positioned further back for handling. The overall chassis footprint is also slightly larger for more electronic mounting options.
