Exotek has come out with yet another No Prep part for your Traxxas Slash 2WD build. This wheelie ladder bar set bolts right to the rear of your Slash using existing mounting points to provide maximum stability while ripping down the strip!
What We Like:
We love the simplicity of the system – some carbon fiber lengths, aluminum cross bracing and the trick-looking aluminum wheels. All the assembly and mounting hardware is included – nice touch. It also includes an adjustable height system and is legal within the 2021 NPRC race rules!
What We’re Not Sure About:
The only thing we see as a slight problem are the slots used to adjust the height. It’s a simple slot, so any hard hits off the light could ‘move’ the mounting points, causing the bar to collapse to the highest setting. I think you’d have to really crank down on the screws to keep them tight enough to prevent this from happening.
