New from Hobbywing is the EZRUN Mini28 ESC for 1/27-1/28 scale applications.
This tiny ESC has been optimized for use with the Kyosho Mini-Z, but will work with other small scale cars as well. It has a tiny footprint but packs quite the punch with features like a full alloy heatsink case, 30A maximum output, 2S LiPo battery compatibility, will work with 1626-size motors and has a supported app that allows you to make a whole slew of changes via Bluetooth programming. On top of that, it has 2 built-in modes: Zero-Timing for a ‘Blinky’ option and a Modified mode for open-motor applications.

What We Like:
Mini-Z rides are really alot of fun, but power application options have been a bit limited. Having Hobbywing step up with a fully programmable ESC that is similar to their 1/10 scale stuff is quite a leap forward. Very cool to see.
What We’re Not Sure About:
Not. A. Thing. This micro ESC is even quite affordable at only $80!
