Hobbywing QuicRun Fusion Brushless 540 Crawling System | CompetitionX

Hobbywing has announced a new 540-size crawling system – the QuicRun Fusion Brushless System.

This system is unique as in includes the motor and ESC in one unit! Doing this only increases the motor’s size to that of a 550 can, but it makes installation and wiring setup way easier!

The Fusion system uses something called Intelligent Torque output and combines that with the ESC’s closed loop setup. Basically it helps maintain the motor’s torque output and RPM during different vehicle conditions – uphill, downhill, under load, no load. It’s stated that the system is so smooth and controlled (while maintain super torque status) that it outperforms ordinary brushless AND brushed power systems.

This system is also water, mud, sand, ice and snow proof – take it anywhere you want to go!

This sounds like something revolutionary in the RC crawling world – I’m interested in seeing how it performs against all the other systems currently out there!
