Well, well, well – this was quite unexpected from the Losi camp – but it’s very cool to see them hopping onboard the very popular No Prep scene with the 22S Drag Car.
What We Like:
Losi wants in, and in a big way. They’ve loaded this beast with their Spektrum Firma ESC and 6500kV motor, SLT3 radio gear and an all new 22S chassis. LED lights are loaded into the officially licensed 1969 Chevy Camaro body and an all-metal transmission and Mickey Thompson drag tires are standard equipment! Losi is bringing it hard in the RTR market!
What We’re Not Sure About:
With it’s aluminum chassis and all-metal transmission, the Losi 22S already seems a step above the DR10. Our concern is if a solid ruleset for the classes (read: RTR’s, factory-rides, whatever), it could get out of hand quite quick.
