Pro-Line Racing has rolled out a new set of 2.9″ belted tires for 1/7 scale vehicles. These beauties are based on the Toyo Proxes R888R tires wrapped around a gorgeous set of black 5-spoke wheels.
The Proxes come in two widths: 42/100 for the front and 53/107 for the rears. They tires are molded in PL’s S3 compound and have an aggressive tread pattern for maximum grip. The offset looks amazing as well with the fronts offering a standard look while the rears showing off a deep wheel lip!
Both sets of tires use a 17mm hex and a pre-mounted for ease of use!
What We Like:
The tread pattern is spot on for Proxes and they look great matched up to the 5-spoke wheels. Mount them up on your 1/7 scale car and oh boy – beautiful! The offsets are perfect and are sure to give your 1/7 scale ride an aggressive look!
What We’re Not Sure About:
Nothing. PL did an amazing job on these and the S3 compound should provide plenty of grip!
