ProTek RC has announced a new line of LiPo batteries for the 2022 season. There are 14 new packs available that support both the onroad and offroad segments of our hobby; 1/8 scale, 1/10 scale and 1/12 scale onroad/offroad racing as well as oval, drag racing and rock crawling.
These packs range from 2S to 4S with all of them being the now almost-norm High Voltage setup. MilliAmps ratings range from 4300 all the way to an amazing 9600!!!!!
What We Like:
We use, almost exclusively, ProTek LiPo packs in our racing and rock crawling rides. We love the HV voltage they sustain and the power output can’t be beat. While we do our best to take care of them they seem to last quite a long time under heavy race conditions (ie – we beat them up)! Excited to see what the new line of packs does to our race program!
What We’re Not Sure About:
Nothing yet – only time will tell if these new packs match up to the older batteries.
