R1 Wurks, best known for their uber-fast 1/10 scale motors and ESCs, are dipping their toes into the 1/8 scene with the new Digital 3 1/8 Scale ESC.
This new ESC has all the features of their 1/10 scale system and uses proprietary software and wireless programming to allow you to make changes based on track conditions. It has a 2650kV motor limit, offers forward/brake or forward/brake/reverse operation and is capable of handling up to 6S LiPo power. It transfers power via 10Awg wire and uses a full aluminum heatsink and onboard fan for heat dissipation.

What We Like:
We LOVE R1’s ESCs and use them in just about every race vehicle we have – we love the functionality and wireless programming – and the power! Whew. We’ve been inquiring about a 1/8 scale option for some time and told ‘soon’ – well, today is the day. Super excited to give this ESC a go!
What We’re Not Sure About:
As with all ‘new’ electronics, there could be some issues with it. We’re happy being a guinea pig…
