RC4WD has just sent out their Mid-August Press Release – 4 cool new products for you scalers out there. Let’s check them out!
RC4WD 5-Lug Deep Dish Wagon 1.9″ Steel Stamped Beadlock Wheels
The first item are these beautiful 1.9″ deep dish wheels. Dubbed the Wagons, they are stamped from steel and feature CNC-machined parts with amazing detail. They feature a deep dish design and fit any 12mm hex adapter. They have a 3.mm offset, weigh 78g a piece and come in with a brilliant chrome coating.
RC4WD “T”-Style Male to Tamiya Male Connector Adapter
This next item isn’t really a scaler part, but if it sure will help if you’re looking for an Deans-style (or T-style) plug to mate up to a Tamiya plug! Made from black and red Silica wire, this adapter is soldered to the Deans-style plug and shrink-wrapped for added protection. Total length is 141mm.
RC4WD Ballistic Offroad Razorback 2.2″ Beadlock Wheel
Here’s another set of beauties from RC4WD – Officially licensed Ballistic Offroad Razorback 2.2″ Beadlock Wheels. These hoops are CNC-machined from billet aluminum and feature amazing detail on the face; black anodizing, milled corners and a scale wheel nut cover with the Ballistic Offroad logo on it. They fit a standard 12mm hex, have a 14.3mm offset and weigh 81g each. These are only available through RC4WD and their dealers, so if you want to get a set, you can only do so through them.
RC4WD R5 1:24 Mini Cast Transmission
The final part in the Mid-August releases is this 1:24 scale R5 Mini Transmission. It’s a single speed unit and features a zinc-alloy cast housing, a 1:15 gear ratio and weighs in at 24.5g. This would work great in vehicles like RC4WD’s 1:18 scale Gelande II RTR.
