Reedy has announced a new economical ESC that can be used by both modified and Spec class racers.

The Blackbox 1000Z+ comes equipped with timing options for modified racing as well as power profiles and drive frequency adjustments. For Stock or Spec racing, the Blackbox 1000Z+ can be put into a zero-timing blinky mode.

Additional features include a lightweight plastic case, aluminum heat sink with separate cooling fan, on-board, single button programming and solder tabs for easy wire replacement. The software is ROAR approved and can be updated when necessary.

This ESC is available at an great price and perfect for those swapping back and forth between modified and Spec racing.
