Schumacher has announced the re-release of their popular 2WD buggy, the Cougar.
The Cougar Classic, as it’s being named, is being re-created using much of the original tooling but with small upgrades to modernize the car. We see the aluminum chassis coming back as well as an upgraded transmission to handle more power.

What We Like:
We love re-releases of vintage rides simply because, back then, they had character. Swept front fiberglass shock towers, bulky bodies and wings that were HIGH above the rooflines, theses cars really made you work for the performance. They were just fun to drive! Glad to see companies realizing a market for vintage re-re’s.
What We’re Not Sure About:
As with ANY re-re, parts availability could be an issue. That being said, take it easy on your Cougar Classic!
