Serpent has introduced the SRX8-E, a new 1/8 scale 4WD Buggy in RTR trim. This buggy come full assembled with all of the current features of the SRX8 platform and includes a pre-painted body, molded black wing and pre-mounted DragonRC buggy tires and wheels. The SRX8-E includes a full compliment of DragonRC electronics: 2.4GHz radio system, 120a waterproof brushless ESC and a 1900kV brushless motor. All you need to do is add your LiPo battery and go!
What We Like:
The Serpent SRX8-E is and awesome platform and will not only excel out in your favorite bashing spot, but with a quick change to some competition-level tires could put you on the podium at your local track as well. There’s tons of tuning options available to help you gain the advantage over your competitors with all kinds of setups online to give you a base starting point. Even the price seems reasonable, ringing in at about $500.
What We’re Not Sure About:
Unfortunately in the States, Serpent isn’t the most popular car. Now, that doesn’t mean it’s not good, it’s just not the choice of your average racer. That might make ‘asking a friend’ for setup tips a bit difficult.
