Tamiya has announced a clear body set of the 2020 Ford GT Mk. II, a lid that was recently released as a full kit a few weeks ago. This body set is the same one found in the kit, comes clear with an overspray film, window masks, detailed sticker sheet and a separate, injection molded tree of bolt on parts (mirrors, rear wing, etc).
What We Like:
This is a stunning body! It is pulled from a crazy-mold design that allows the company to pull bodies with quite a bit of overhang, something that typically requires a multi-piece body set. The detail is also next level – body, lines, decal sheet, extra parts – that, when finished, provide a masterpiece that almost makes you NOT want to drive it.
What We’re Not Sure About:
Who wants to use a body they spent 4 hours creating???
