Tamiya has announced the Hornet EVO, a next-generation version of this cute little vehicle that stole our hearts back in the mid ’80s. This new version celebrates the 40th Anniversary of the car and has some interesting new features – mainly a re-worked, independent rear end and transmission.
But that’s not all – the new EVO also comes with full bearings and oil-filled shocks!!!

What We Like:
We had an OG Hornet back in the day and loved it – it’s a good combo between quirky and fun. The new EVO, however, adds a bit of performance to the equation which should really make this a super fun, highly sought after version of the vintage ride.
What We’re Not Sure About:
Nothing. Super excited for this one!
