The BT-01 is one of Tamiya’s newest entry-level cars and, to make getting to fun a bit faster, they now offer the Porsche 911 Carrera RSR body pre-painted in the box!

The car comes in kit form with a MR setup (mid-motor/RWD) and includes a brushed 540 motor and ESC in the box. Simply build the car and sticker up the body, no need for paint!

What We Like:
From a beginner’s standpoint, the BT-01 is a pretty solid car as far as build ease and performance. Adding a pre-painted body just makes the whole assembly process that much more delightful. Nice touch, Tamiya.

What We’re Not Sure About:
More of this type of thing, please. Making it easier for the beginner to just jump in and drive is a wonderful thing.
