Tamiya TRF Big Bore Shock Kits | CompetitionX

Tamiya TRF Big Bore Shock Kits | CompetitionX

Tamiya has announced 3 new TRF shock kits designed to help boost the performance of your rides!

The first is 42353 TRF Super Short Big Bore Dampers. The kit contains 4 shocks that are 6.5mm shorter than the TRF Special Dampers. They include updated V-parts, blank pistons and aluminum caps, bodies, collars and spring retainers.

The second set is the 42354 TRF Big Bore Dampers. They are similar to the Super Shorties, just longer. This set also contains the updated V-parts and aluminum parts.

The final set is the 42355 Big Bore Dampers+. Designed as an upgrade for the M-Chassis, these shocks contain the updated V-parts, titanium-coated shafts, silicone o-rings and aluminum bodies, caps, collars and spring retainers.

I’ve used Tamiya shocks in the past and they are probably one of the best shock sets on the market – butter smooth and super consistent. Might be seeing these on some of my upcoming projects for sure!
