Team Associated’s has announced the Pro4 SC10, a 4WD Short Course truck in RTR trim! A closer look reveals a new chassis, arms, towers, bumpers and possibly drive line! Looks like a beastly truck as well!
What We Like:
While we loved the SC10 4×4, it wasn’t super popular for whatever reason (it might have been a bit over-engineered). The visual updates on the Pro4 SC10 are welcome – factory-finished Contender SC body with big ol’ bumpers (the front even has LEDs) and Fifteen52 Turbomac wheels wrapped in General Grabber tires. The inclusion of a full Reedy electronics line up is also great with the new Pro4 SC10 even available as a combo unit – and did you see the ESC? Reedy SC600-BL – that’s a 3S-capable unit!!!! I’m thinking this might be at the top of my list as my next RTR to get!
What We’re Not Sure About:
The SC10 4×4 was a bit of a headache to work on, it’s hard to say how this one will be. Hopefully not, but it does appear to be more in line with the other current 4WD SC trucks on the market. Another concern are the tires – AE is a performance company and releasing a truck with less-than-adequate tires is always a bad thing.
