Team Associated RC10B74.2 FT Ring and Pinion Gear Set | CompetitionX

Gain all the advantages of molded parts in your RC10B74.2 with this new ring and pinion gear set from Team Associated.

This set is made from a high-strength plastic (seen in a lot of their other rides) and are designed for lower-power motors (ie, 13.5T). Each set (the B74.2 uses 2) saves up to 13.5g of rotating mass, giving you an advantage in both acceleration and top end.

What We Like:
In the never-ending search for performance, it’s cool to see AE thinking outside the box with lightweight drivetrain parts. While they’ve said these are great for stock and 13.5T racing, they’ve also been tested with modified-motor power with great success.

What We’re Not Sure About:
As with all ‘molded’ parts, you risk a DNF in the higher horsepower classes. Use with caution.
