Team Associated SR7 Hoonicorn Roller | CompetitionX

Team Associated had announced, awhile back, the 1/7 scale SR7 Hoonicorn RTR. However, after an issue with some of the electronics, they’ve revamped this release into the SR7 Hoonicorn Roller – basically the same car minus electronics. This gives us this killer ride at a reduced price, however you’ll need to outfit it with whatever power system you choose.

Some features on this car include:

• Enclosed receiver box
• 17mm wheel hexes
• Adjustable front and rear body mounts
• 2-piece adjustable motor mount to accommodate taller gearing
• Dual battery trays with adjustable length and hook and loop strapping
• Heavy-Duty CVA joints front and rear
• Integrated chassis bracing for strength and rigidity
• Upper suspension arms with adjustable camber and roll-center
• Aluminum wheel hexes and nuts
• Integrated servo saver
• Anti-roll bars front and rear
• Belted slick tires
• Set up for balanced handling performance out of the box
• Adjustable wheelbase
• Powdered metal servo horn
• Metal ball bearings included

In addition, if you get your order in early, you could pick up one of 2000 specially designated SR7s that has an actual serial number, paying tribute to the man himself, Ken Block!

What We Like:
Bigger is always better and bashing around the neighborhood with a big ol’ 1/7 scale hoon-ride sure does sound like a ton of fun. We like that it’s built like a tank and should take quite a bit of abuse…

What We’re Not Sure About:
…however we’re probably going to need a few sets of tires, like, now. We’re sure that’s going to be the first item people burn through!
