Plastic servo horns take quite a bit of abuse, especially in the world of 1/8 scale. The combination of constant swinging at incredible speeds and hard knocks from jumps or crashes can take their toll, causing these simple little parts to fail.
To help cure this problem, Tekno has come out with an aluminum throttle servo horn for the new NB/NT48 2.0, replacing the stock plastic part. It is anodized in Tekno’s gray color and comes with laser-etching noting the tooth count. A clamping screw is also included.
It is also altered from the original part with a slight angle between the brake and throttle lever, providing a more consistent braking force.
