TLR 8IGHT-X/E 2.0 4WD Combo Race Buggy | CompetitionX

TLR 8IGHT-X/E 2.0 4WD Combo Race Buggy | CompetitionX

TLR has announced their new 2.0 version of the 8IGHT-X 4WD 1/8 scale buggy. There are alot of new features on the car – updated radio tray and suspension geometry, stronger suspension arms, center diff changes, etc – all in the name of going faster in an easier-to-drive platform.

However, that’s not the cool part about this kit. The new 2.0 comes as a nitro or electric version – FROM THE BOX! Yes, you read that right, this car comes with both parts in the box to build it either as a nitro or e-buggy! This allows you to add your own electronics/nitro equipment for a fully customized ride – how cool is that?

What We Like:
1/8 scale is certainly the F1 of RC, and it’s great to see almost every manufacturer whipping out new rides in this category. This car looks amazing, but what gives it high marks is the ability to build it in either nitro or electric format – right from the box! It’s a cool idea that only adds about $50 to the overall kit price – seems like a great deal to us! It even comes with 2 bodies!

What We’re Not Sure About:
Nothing. We’re really liking this idea and think it could start a trend in 1/8 scale buggy sales.
