Well, it didn’t take long for Traxxas to turn their capable trail truck into a modern-day bad ass!
Check out the new TRX-4 Tactical Unit, a rapid-response truck that is designed to go just about anywhere! Traxxas has kept the heavy duty under carriage in place including the 3S-capable XL-5 HV ESC. Aluminum GTS shocks, remote locking diffs, hi/low range transmission and hi-clearance portal axles are all standard features on this military-inspired offroader.
I personally think the design is a pretty risky move and didn’t really ‘feel’ it at first, but after writing this and doing a little more investigation, I actually like it! Excited to see how it compares to the the original Defender!
