Keeping in touch with all you Formula 1 drivers, Tamiya has released their new TRF102 chassis kit. Designed with additional flex qualities at both ends of the car, the TRF102 is perfect for rubber tire applications.
Starting with the chassis, the TRF102 features a 2.5mm carbon fiber lower deck and 2mm upper deck. Aluminum motor mounts are standard as are the F104 low-friction pillow balls and carbon reinforced suspension arms. The TRF102 has gone back to the T-bar rear suspension (a 1.5mm and 1.8mm plates are included) but still retains the TRF center shock and side damper system. Aluminum servo mounts, motor mounts and steering are also included.
This is a beautiful looking kit that, according to Tamiya, works awesome on less-than-perfect surfaces. Can’t wait to try it!
